Sirtori Crèche

Competition
2010

The building follows the lot’s natural inclination, becoming one with the ground itself and thus forming an inner court.

The main facade appears as a broken line, a kind of stone terracing that contains the whole building. The overall design began with the footpath, which winds its way between typical local crops – apple trees and mulberry bushes – and leads to the building. The structure itself is on a single level and hosts 3 classrooms for 30 children each, overlooking the large, central garden.
