The famous pharmaceutical company asked us to reconvert their canteen into a library and staff training rooms.

The hexagonal pattern that informs the space is reminiscent of molecules as represented in Chemistry textbooks. The shelves, the seats, the reading tables and the illumination are all inspired by this central idea, which creates diverse and unexpected layouts.

We made the roof into a garden so as to provide a space for outdoor events.
