The building dates back to the beginning of the 1900s, though it follows the tracks of the medieval hamlet’s roads. An inner court is located at its centre.

The typical features of local architecture – lowered archways, running balconies and hexagonal openings – characterise the facades.

Our task was to design two separate living units, each on two floors.

The bedroom in the lower flat gives direct access to a wellness area. A series of windows between the arcades turn the second-floor portico into a luminous living space overlooking the court.
